In the summer of 2023, an extraordinary adventure unfolded as Jake Catterall took on the challenge of running from the Arctic Circle in Norway to the southern beaches of Tarifa, Spain. A journey spanning 5,660 kilometers, 94 days, and 8 countries, it was not just a physical feat but a testament to the power of determination and the pursuit of the 'Way Beyond' journey. As Jake's support crew and documenter, my lens captured the highs, challenges, and life-changing moments that defined this incredible adventure.

Embarking on the Unknown
The idea was simple yet profound: what if one started running and didn't stop until reaching the southernmost tip of Europe? Jake's mission was born out of a curiosity to discover the limits of human endurance and the exploration of personal boundaries. The 'Way Beyond' challenge was set, and the journey began.

Running through the diverse landscapes of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain, the route encapsulated the essence of Europe's beauty. From the serene landscapes of Scandinavia to the bustling streets of Paris and the sun-kissed shores of Spain, each country brought its unique flavor to the epic adventure.
